Maruti to bring CNG variants of all models

Maruti is now days working on CNG(compressed natural gas) models,due to continuous rise in petroleum prices by the petroleum agencies as a result of this, customers have started preferring the use of CNG cars as a better option to over-come their financial problem rising because of swell in petroleum prices.Maruti ,use of CNG technology in its models will bring down the cost of driving to 60 percent with better fuel economy. Already five such CNG cars have been launched with Maruti prefixed as there Brand name and now implementing the same strategy in other models.Maruti EecoCNG costs Rs 29.30 per kg, as compared to Rs 37.75 per litre of diesel and Rs 58.37 per litre of petrol and therefore would be more preferred . Hence CNG-driven cars would be a viable option over petrol and diesel cars. Woefully CNG availability is an issue; also, the fuel affects slightly the pickup of vehicles. Which would result into some perception in consumers mind about the performance of a CNG/LPG vehicle.Maruti SX4At present Maruti has installed CNG technology in some of its variants like Maruti Alto, Maruti Eeco, Maruti SX4, Maruti Wagon R and Maruti Estilo cars except for the Grand Maruti Vitara SUV and the Maruti Kizashi sedan.Maruti's CNG models are available only in few areas of India due to the availability issue of CNG for the time being but soon maruti will provide CNG engine in other parts of the country also.

Maruti Wagon RMaruti Suzuki the most trusted brand in Indian market has invested 290 crore in the model change and offered the car in CNG and LPG options for the customers. CNG version of Dzire is also launched by the company recently.
